I woke up at about 6am yesterday. I managed to get the first bus of the day at 0920 and I left at 0915. I arrived into Leigh at 0930 and had a 27 minute wait so got a drink and a pie from Dawsons pie shop. The 0957 bus to Wigan was one of the 3 services that are run by vision on Sundays. When i got to Wigan, i managed to spend around 1hr and 30 minutes bus spotting. After bus spotting, i saw it was my favourite driver doing the 10 to Leigh at 1200 so i hopped on, the bus back to Leigh was 27208 (ADL E300). I realised it was the 14th August and realised Newton Road was closed so we had to divert via the A580 East Lancashire Road and A579 Lowton St Marys bypass. I was scared alright. In Leigh as i was getting off, i said, those lancs honestly scare me. Thanks for making feel safe driver. Back to Wigan, we follow the same diversion. At Golborne Asda (A timing point, i spoke to driver to see if i could get a pic and as we left, my friend messaged me to stay there, i said, ill be going back to Leigh so hop on on the Leigh side. We got to wigan at around 1352 for the 1400 departure. We departed about a minute late. We got to Golborne at about 1435 on the way to Leigh. I said to my friend, dont sit near me on the diversion because i may get sick so i need to be near the driver just in case. Back to Wigan, We sat near the front because of the diversion. my friend moved before it but i had to sit near the driver. i felt safe near the driver and i knew if anything happened, he would be able to stop the bus and help me feel better. Shoutout to the driver of the 1200,1300,1400 and 1500 route 10's for making me feel safe on the East Lancs road. Thank you for reading this
